The Rose Green Centre, home to Bristol West Indies to host Last Man Stands in Bristol

LMS Bristol is pleased to announce that The Rose Green Centre in Whitehall will be the first venue to host LMS cricket in Bristol this summer. Situated in 11.2 acres of lush green idyllic surroundings, The Rose Green Centre is home to Bristol West Indies CC and with two licensed bars and catering facilities on site will provide a perfect venue for LMS this summer.

We will be hosting 3 open sessions at The Rose Green Centre for teams to come along and give LMS a try:

Sunday 29th April - 10.30am

Tuesday 1st May - 7pm

Thursday 3rd May - 7pm

Gloucestershire CC captain Alex Gidman is right behind LMS in Bristol

Gloucestershire Cricket Club captain Alex Gidman has pledged his support to LMS in Bristol he said: “Last Man Stands is a short format game which is great fun and very sociable. It only takes two hours to play a match. It’s ideal for former players who want to come back to the game or for anyone who wants to try cricket for the first time. I will definitely be giving it a go.

“It’s particularly proving popular with corporate teams and the world ranking element makes for great office banter.  I would encourage anyone who is interested to give it a try. Get your mates together and get involved and encourage their friends, family and workmates to join in too.”
