England Champions league 2011

Congratulations to Team Manchester for becoming the 5th team to win the LMS T20 England Champions League! They have moved up to no.4 in the team world rankings and have secured 8 free flights to Cape Town to play in the LMS World Championship in 2012. The Lancastrians brushed aside opposition from all over the country on route to the Champions of Champions final against Barclays Capital from London. Barclays Capital pushed them all the way in the final but in the end Team Manchester had too much fire power! Team Manchester are the first team from outside the capital to win the national LMS title!

Skipper, Imran Mirza, who has featured in this in the mini highlights package Video of finals day has moved up to number 5 in the world batting rankings! All eyes will be on Mirza and Team Manchester in Cape Town next year!
